As a huge Eurovision fan, it was a dream come true to see one of the live shows in 2024 in Malmö. Because I went alone, I wanted to make a conversation starter to be able to easier get to talk to other Eurovision fans. I turned my 5 favourite entries of the year into Magic the Gathering cards (which I’ve been told by my brother, are completely unplayable… what a bummer) to spread some joy and playfulness. It worked! I got to talk to many super kind and excited fans. The most popular card? Definitely Europapa!
